Dear Committee Member,
The wait is nearly over. From tomorrow, you will finally be able to bury your nose in a glass of Ardbog.
You’ll discover soft and aromatic smoke with an aroma of lavender and violets. Dig a little deeper and water brings forth herbal, perfumed notes and smoked rhubarb.
The full, tingly mouthfeel leads to a savoury burst of flavours. And classic Ardbeg sweetness is kept in check by oak tannins, clove and ground coffee.
Don’t forget, Ardbog will be available to buy at your nearest Ardbeg retailer from tomorrow – see ardbeg.com/us-shop-locator for details.
You’re bound to unearth more flavours and aromas yourself, so please share your findings and photos with us on Facebook.
In addition, here’s a chance for you to flex your archaeological muscles and dig for hoards of Ardboggian treasures. We’ve ‘buried’ hundreds of goodies on Islay and we’re inviting you to digitally dig up the island to claim Ardbog artifacts and other desirable items. Go online and have a dig about for miniatures and 70cl bottles of Ardbog and Ten Years Old, t-shirts and coins. Buried treasure indeed!
Join in The Ardbog Day Dig at ardbeg.com/ardbogdaydig and Facebook.
Here at the Distillery, we’re looking forward to a day of fun and frolics. So on behalf of our many Drambassadors at Ardbeg Embassies around the world, have a wonderful Ardbog Day and we look forward to seeing you at a shindig* tomorrow!
