Some might say my career path has been a little backwards for one working in Hollywood. Many young starlets come to Hollywood with a suitcase and a dream, with their first jobs being servers or bar tenders. My path has been the opposite. I finished film school with my BA in Cinema and started working on set immediately. As I have grown and matured over the years, so has my taste in alcohol. In my late 20’s I discovered Scotch & it has become my warm, go-to friend. My love for the spirit has grown to the point of taking a vacation alone in Scotland on a distillery tour, belonging to four Scotch Whiskey societies, becoming a certified bartender, & even creating and pitching TV shows related to the water of life. When I discovered this challenge, my journey was clear. I needed to embody my love for movies with my love for Scotch to exude my personality. As I sat at my home bar with a bottle of Grant’s and looked at all my potential ingredients, I first thought which two of these would best describe me? I have been described in the past as a firecracker and go-getter but also as a caring individual. I chose to start with something sweet to capture my caring side and something spicy to capture my inner firecracker.
I give you the “Cherry Grant” 2 oz Grant's Scotch, 1/2 teaspoon Grenadine Syrup, 4 dashes of Spiced Cherry Bitters over ice. #GrantsInterview
