Ole George’s Rye is a smooth, easy drinking rye that goes thorugh four (4) seperate distillations and is non chill filtered.  This creates a chewy mouth feel and a flavorful spice that doesn’t overpower you. Its profile is further mellowed by a light caramel  flavor, but you’ll also notice a bit of smoke, and a hint of an oaky wood in there as well....a wonderfully intense Rye that also offers incredible balance and style. A must have for “Rye Heads” as this is pure, unadulterated Rye Whiskey.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Deep, brilliant copper with hints of gold.
Aroma: The aromatics are complex and pure with scents of toasted grain, black pepper, sourdough rye bread, dried black fruits, caramel, vanilla, allspice, and pralines.
Taste: The palate is in full agreement with the nose offering a silky and zesty marriage of fruit, caramel, pepper and brown baking spices
Finish: silky that coats the palate and lingers for minutes.
